Even at the end of their service life, aircraft contain valuable components and materials. At Skyways Technics we embarked on Aircraft Recycling as our latest add-on to our business areas in 2019. We have since then acquired aircraft at a steady pace to be able to absorb the growing demand in the market for parts and there is no better way to do that than from a sustainable approach.
Environmental Benefits
When we recycle aircraft, it helps to reduce waste in landfills and minimizes the environmental impact of disposing of retired aircraft. By reducing the need for new materials, we lower the carbon footprint. The environmental impact is obvious, we recover valuable parts and thereby contribute to a more sustainable aviation industry - to which we are committed by our ESG responsibilities.
